Today I really want to pick everyone's brains and get some ideas flowing. I am exactly one week out from our Summer Retreat. My team and I have been meeting, praying and planning for some time now, and we're all super excited! Ever since I became Youth Director, we have always run our own retreats. We don't go to the "big" show in town, we rent a camp and run it ourselves. It's lots of fun and lots of work!
Mostly because we're a bunch of nerds we're putting together a Lord of the Rings theme for this retreat and some/most of us are really geeking out on it. The kickoff to the retreat will be a big, scavenger hunt/quest/adventure that we're creating for the teams of students to complete. It will consist of team building challenges that will earn them clues to get to the next challenge etc.
We're having a lot of fun putting this together, but I need your help! Please post your favorite team building challenges here. Or even you links to some of your favorite websites to find team building activities!
