Summer for my ministry is officially under way. Last Thursday through Sunday we were on our Summer Retreat, in Mears, MI. At a camp called Grace Adventures. I can't say enough about the camp facility and staff, they were simply amazing.
But what I really want to talk about today is how amazing our God is. Time and time again in ministry He has answered prayers, and this weekend was no exception. We put on our own retreats, which means aside from some of the activities that the camp staff supervises, we are on our own. From evening services, worship, devotional times my team and I handle it all. Or should I say God handles it all...
I could say the hours were countless during the preparation portion of this trip, but I've got a pretty good log of them and know about how many went into it. And I have to say that the investment in time and prayer was paid back ten-fold, we had 20 students make the trip with us, and I truly don't believe 1 of them came back the same as when they left. God had, a ton of business to do with these teens, and business was good.
I'll write more and share some photos as the week progresses so check back soon for that, but I want to thank anyone who prayed for us while we were travelling, your prayers were answered for sure. Thank you!
